The GoGo Instruments’ Electrocaloric Effect Testing System is a direct measurement device designed to characterize the electrocaloric effect in materials. In dielectric materials, the application of an external electric field alters the polarization state of dipoles, leading to a change in the material's temperature. Since the electrocaloric effect is directly related to changes in polarization strength, strongly polar ferroelectric materials can exhibit significant electrocaloric responses.
This system directly monitors temperature changes on the material surface by applying or removing a high-voltage electric field. It consists of a vacuum module, a high-voltage module, and a data acquisition module, and is suitable for measurements on bulk materials.
Configuration Parameters:
1. Temperature range: -100~150°C (requires optional high-low temperature test chamber)
2. Temperature resolution: 0.001°C
3. High voltage range: 0~10 kV
4. Vacuum level: < 2 Pa
5. Temperature sensor: PT100 (configurable options available)
