Custom Optical Heating/Cooling Stage for Chongqing Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences

GoGo Instruments Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. specializes in temperature control technology, offering a range of patented products including probe heating/cooling stages, optical heating/cooling stages, in situ stretching stages, in situ XRD/SEM heating/cooling stages, ultra-high-temperature heating stages, and high/low-temperature test chambers, as well as testing systems for dielectric thermal spectra, electrocaloric effects, charge-discharge testing, and variable-temperature D33 measurements.


Based on client requirements, GoGo Instruments customized an optical heating/cooling stage for the Chongqing Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, deployed in their public laboratory. The optical heating/cooling stage is designed for studying the optical properties of samples under variable temperatures, characterizing how optical performance evolves with temperature. Utilizing liquid nitrogen cooling and resistive heating, it achieves precise control within the range of -190°C to 600°C (configurable). When integrated with optical equipment (e.g., microscopes, Raman spectrometers), it enables in situ variable-temperature testing. As required, this optical heating/cooling stage is configured with a reflective optical path.


The optical heating/cooling stage requires pairing with a temperature controller and an optional refrigeration controller. The accompanying PC-based temperature control software simplifies temperature setting and data acquisition, while provided LabVIEW VIs facilitate customized programming.
