In March 2025, the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences utilized GoGo Instruments' ECH400V probe heating/cooling stage and other equipment to explore laser-induced phase transition technology in MoTe₂. They successfully achieved controllable, high-quality preparation of 1T'-MoTe₂ and systematically investigated the low-temperature phase transition behavior of the 1T' phase using variable-temperature Raman spectroscopy. The study found that its transition temperature to the Td phase is negatively correlated with Te cluster concentration, providing a solution for the controllable preparation and regulation of lateral heterojunctions in 2D materials. The related work was published in *Controllable Laser-Induced Phase Transition in Multilayer 2H-MoTe₂ and its Raman Spectroscopy Study, Adv. Electron. Mater. 2025, 2500064*.
