The in-situ tensile heating/cooling stage is a device used to test the stress-strain characteristics of samples in a variable temperature environment. It can perform tensile, compressive, or programmed cyclic loading on samples.
GoGo Instruments customized a 500N, RT-150°C tensile heating stage for the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, to be compatible with the FluxOS R1 Angle-Resolved Spectrometer. This setup is used to measure the optical incidence at various angles onto the surface of an elastic polymer hydrogel under both heating and tensile conditions.
