GoGo Instruments Successfully Delivers Customized Hot and Cold Stage to Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Recently, GoGo Instruments completed the delivery of a customized probe-type heating/cooling stage project for the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences.


The Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences is one of China's renowned comprehensive research institutes in technical sciences, with its origins dating back to the Engineering Research Institute of the National Academy of Central Research established in 1928. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, SIMIT has received 46 national-level awards and over 340 ministerial and provincial-level awards, making significant contributions to national economic development, security, and social progress.


The delivered product is the GoGo Instruments probe-type heating/cooling stage ECH600S, which is primarily used in experiments for electrical testing of high-resistance materials under different temperature variations.

The ECH600S provides precise temperature control ranging from -190℃ to 600℃.

The test sample was a high-resistance material. Experiments showed that as temperature increased, the material's resistance dropped sharply at high temperatures. For this delivery, GoGo Instruments customized the supporting software according to client requirements.

This customized software includes two testing modes:
① R-T Testing: Sample resistance variation with temperature;
② Resistance-Time Spectrum Testing: Sample resistance variation over time after reaching set temperature;
